These terms apply when you buy Couch to Control™. The course is provided by Alcohol Reduction Coach™, based in London, UK. By buying the course, you agree to these terms.

Who the course is for

Couch to Control™ is for adults who want to cut back on drinking that is not excessive. It is not suitable for anyone who drinks heavily every day, or who may be physically dependent on alcohol.

If you drink in the morning, feel shaky without a drink, or feel anxious when you cannot have one, please speak to your GP before making any changes, or contact WithYou. Stopping suddenly can be dangerous for people who are dependent.

The course and call are educational and coaching support. They are not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

What you get

Access to the Couch to Control™ online lessons and videos for 12 months from purchase.
Downloads, which are yours to keep after your access ends.
One 30-minute Google Meet call with Alastair, booked online, to talk through the course strategies and how they fit your week. The call is not a full coaching or strategy session.
A short questionnaire about your typical week after you book your call, which Alastair reviews before the call, and a written summary of your recommended strategies afterwards.

Price and payment

The course costs £99 at the introductory price, which applies to purchases made up to and including 31st December 2026. The price for later purchases is the one shown at checkout. It is paid in full at checkout by card via Stripe or by PayPal.

Access

Course access is protected by a password, which is for your personal use only. Please do not share it. We may change the password from time to time and will send the new one to buyers with current access.

Your call

Please book and take your call within 60 days of purchase.
You can rearrange your call with at least 24 hours' notice.
If you miss your call without notice, it counts as used.

Cancellations and refunds

Under UK consumer law you normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase. When you buy Couch to Control™, you ask for immediate access to the course and acknowledge that you lose the right to cancel the digital content once you have accessed it.

If you have not accessed the course or taken your call, you can cancel within 14 days of purchase for a full refund by emailing hello@cutbackdrinking.com.

Credit towards Alcohol Reduction Coach™

If you buy an Alcohol Reduction Coach™ programme within three months of buying Couch to Control™, the price you paid is credited in full against it. The credit is not transferable and has no cash value.

Our content

All course materials belong to Alcohol Reduction Coach™. You may use them for your own personal use, but not copy, share, resell or publish them.

Liability

We take care to make the course accurate and useful, but results depend on how you apply it. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
